This place is a dream. Beautiful countryside.

This place is a dream. Beautiful countryside and friendly people. Low crime. Low traffic. Low stress. Much more peaceful than living in a big city. Me and my husband traveled all over Colorado and this was the best town with the best housing prices. I've lived in Denver and moved here from Houston and it's so much better here.

Thank you for this comment! I live in Denver now and am trying to figure out how to retire in a few years. Rocky Ford is on my list, and even more so now. Thank you!

Rocky Ford is a PERFECT place to retire! It's very quiet and there are plenty of older people here. I've lived in Denver and it was cool in my 20s but I much more prefer Rocky Ford for my 30s and being married. Plus, the weather is always gorgeous. More than any other place I've lived.

If you spend a short amount of time in Rocky Ford you can hear racist remarks most places....
